Here’s one of the cards we’re going to be making in the Tools & Techniques class tomorrow evening.
It’s called Double Embossing. The main part of the card is embossed on the Big Shot with the Fancy Fan embossing folder (#127751), then the Decorative Frames Oval (#123130) is embossed over it. And by doing it a certain way, you won’t have the ‘fans’ showing through where the oval is. Come to the class and I’ll show you how! We’ll also be making an envelope for this card. This envelope is made with a 6″ square of matching Designer Series Paper and has a belly band wrapped around it to keep it closed. Since the card is only 2 3/4″ x 4 1/4″, it can’t be mailed as it is through Canada Post, so the belly band works! If you want to mail it, just put it into a larger envelope. Notice the patterned paper and button? They’re from Sale-a-Bration 2013 – the Sycamore Street Collection. You can get them free with each $60 order
Go to my Calendar of Events to register! I hope to see you tomorrow evening!
Don’t forget to register for the LifeWay Christian Academy Fundraiser on Friday & Saturday, March 15 & 16, 2013. Another one of the projects that I’ll be teaching in a class is this Gift Card Holder.
Are you one of those people who give gift cards for special occasions? If you are, then make sure you sign up for this class. This is one of the gift card holders we’ll be making. And yes…it really is decorated for Christmas, but you can use any Designer Series Paper and any Stamp Set for any occasion. I’ll show you how!
Be sure to contact Carrie Bueckert – email@example.com – to sign up for the LifeWay Christian Academy Fundraiser. The monies raised go to help the inner city school. It’s a great way to do something worthwhile and help a good cause – and have fun at the same time!
Enjoy the sunshine we’re getting today! Shouldn’t be too many more weeks of this cold and snow!
Thanks for stopping by!
Inky hugs & blessings…Brenda
